Yoga for women with Fiona

When we move our bodies with conscious awareness, in yoga, we are able to tap into a deep resource of presence and energy. When we flow with each breath we can embody each moment, release stress and tension and over time develop inner strength and balance. This can give us a way of understanding ourselves, our family, our friends, our community and our planet.

When we gift ourselves with a retreat time, we nourish and bless ourselves.

Yoga can also offer us peace, a little bit of sanctuary within our busy lives. When you make some sacred space for yourself, you nourish your own well being, and create the process of deep healing, and self empowerment.

As women, we often forget our femininity. We need to work hard to 'achieve'. We have to embrace masculine values and vibes in order to achieve professionally. This can exhaust us, we are often not even aware that we have lost our connection with our divine feminine. Yoga, meditation, movement and working with intention can bring us back to the inherent power within our female bodies.

Yoga on this retreat will include empowering vinyasa sequences, balanced with slowing down and moving into stillness.

Connecting with the earth through posture, grounding, standing, becoming aware of our foundation.

Finding fluidity and softness with flowing movement. Building our strength with standing postures and fire core practices.

Finding the important balance between strength and flexibility.

Each morning we will enjoy a 2 hour class including asana, pranayama with time for a long shavasana, yoga niidra and a little meditation.

'I loved everything about this retreat. Fiona is an incredibly generous host and hugely inspirational yoga teacher. Mountain location is magical, fascinating to learn about sustainable living, the accommodation was luxuriously cosy and comfortable, food was truly wonderful! Was rather gutted when the week came to an end.'
